I wanted to join the National Diversity Coalition (NDC) because organizations such as the Diversity Alliance are what motivate me to continue this life-saving work. Establishing communities that advance and promote acceptance and encourage love amongst our fellow people through diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI) work is of the utmost importance to me. I hold these truths in my heart as my raison d'etre.

Subjectively, it seems that many people are not given stages to speak, nor have I had the pleasure of truly being able to appreciate other cultures because of this vacancy of civil discourse. At Garrison Forest, increasing interest within the students to care and take action when confronted with these difficult social situations is definitely an aspect that needs development.

The Ambassadors of The National Diversity Coalition are student leaders from schools all around the nation that collaborate in the coalition to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion at their school. The Diversity Alliance Executive Team will collaborate with you to elevate your DEI work on a bigger platform with various events and initiatives.
