Hi! My name is Mia and I’m one of the leaders for my school’s Gender and Sexuality Alliance. I wanted to join the National Diversity Coalition (NDC) not only because I wanted to be surrounded by others with a similar passion for diversity, but also to grow my own understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) work in schools and what ideas I can work to implement in mine. Overall, I want my school to be more open about having discussions on diverse topics, and I want our school policy and curriculum to reflect that. I’m super excited to start working with everyone!

The Ambassadors of The National Diversity Coalition are student leaders from schools all around the nation that collaborate in the coalition to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion at their school. The Diversity Alliance Executive Team will collaborate with you to elevate your DEI work on a bigger platform with various events and initiatives.
